The Twists and Turns of Road Construction
张明富的内心发生了怎样的变化呢？只有他自己明白。
What changes had taken place in Zhang Mingfu's heart? Only he knew it.
自从当了村长，张明富仍然以他惯有的雷厉风行和清正严明，大力整治村风村务，这样一来，虽然大快人心，却得罪了极少部分村干部。
Since becoming the village head, Zhang Mingfu had still vigorously renovated the social mode and affairs in the village with his usual upright and strict manner. In this way, he combated the climate of corruption. Although the villagers were very gratified, it had offended a few village cadres.
到任头一天，他就给村干部提了很多要求：
“村里承包项目工程，村干部不能个人承包，只有村集体可以承包，利润属于集体经济，这个，我第一个带头。没有利润的民生项目、公益项目，我们要一肩挑。”
On his first day in office, he put many demands on the village cadres. "As for contracted projects, the village groups shall have the right to undertake. Instead, village cadres cannot do it individually, and the profits belong to the collective economy. For this, I'm the first to take the lead. We should shoulder the responsibility for livelihood projects and public welfare projects without profits."
“所有到户的涉农资金，不许有一块钱的克扣。”由于张明富在当村主任之前就到许多农村做过调查，发现有村干部拿着单子叫群众盖手印，故意不填金额一栏，群众盖了手印，给个两三百，回去之后再填群众应得的补助金额，从中谋利。所以，张明富非常严肃地强调了这一点。
"All funds related to agriculture must not be skimped." Mr. Zhang stressed this point very seriously for the reason that before he became the village head, he had done surveys in many villages and found that some village cadres had asked people to press their handprints on the subsidy form without filling in the amount column while gave them some money at random. And then, they made profits by filling in the amount of subsidy that people should have deserved.
“不能优亲厚友，好的政策优惠，该给谁就给谁。”
"We should give preferential policies to those who deserve them rather than favor our own relatives or friends."
“来村里的上级领导、项目负责人，不能宴请吃酒，如果非要请吃饭，那就由我个人出钱。”“不准拉选票，我要求村干部通过干好工作换来村民信任，哪用得着拉选票啊？”……
"Village cadres cannot entertain the superior leaders and project leaders coming to the village with a banquet. If they have to invite them to dinner, I will pay for it personally." "Canvassing must be forbidden. I hope the village cadres to do a good job in exchange for the trust of the villagers. So there is no need for canvassing.
张明富说完，时任村支书李松和大伙拍案叫好，坚决支持。而在场的某一小撮村干部却阴沉着脸，这个张明富新官上任三把火，一来气焰就这么嚣张！于是，一小撮人结起反对张明富的小团体，不时刁难他。
Li Song, the village party secretary, as well as some people on that occasion, firmly supported the above-mentioned with applause after Zhang Mingfu finished his speaking. But a small group of village cadres present had a gloomy face. They thought Zhang Mingfu was so arrogant on taking office! So they ganged up as a clique aganist Zhang Mingfu and made trouble for him from time to time.
张明富管理企业特别严格，企业精神就如同他的人格，充满正直和苦干精神，他到村里干事也秉承这样的风格，惹怒了一些人。曾经有人发短信威胁暗示张明富：张主任，村里面的事儿不像你搞企业，大不见细不过算了。但这话张明富根本听不进，依然坚持自己的严格办事风格。听到有些村的村干部因贪污老百姓扶贫款被查处，许多人才明白张明富的良苦用心。
Zhang Mingfu was particularly strict in managing the enterprise. The enterprise spirit was just like his personality, full of integrity and hard-work spirit. He also adhered to this style when working in the village, which angered some people. Someone once sent a text message to threaten Zhang Mingfu, “Mr. Zhang, the affairs in the village are not like your business. Don't be too serious.” But Zhang Mingfu didn't listen to this at all and still insisted on working in a rigorous manner. The villagers didnot realize why Zhang Mingfu insisted on his rigorousness until they heard that some village cadres were investigated and punished for embezzling poverty alleviation funds.
村里修建中河公路时，一些人趁张明富在外住院，迅速向村民散播谣言。
When the Zhonghe Highway was built in the village, some rumors spread around villagers as Zhang Mingfu was hospitalized in Beijing.
有的党员干部察觉到了不对劲儿的地方，引起警惕。李松立马联系上李润开，了解到真实情况后，幡然清醒。他到处奔走辟谣：“张主任是眼睛跳才去北京做神经手术了，大家千万不要听信谣言！”
Some party cadres aroused their vigilance when noticing something wrong. Li Song immediately contacted Li Runkai to learn the truth. He ran around to refute the rumors, "Director Zhang went to Beijing for neurosurgery because his eyes trouble. Don't listen to rumors!"
在北京住院的张明富知道有人在村子里散播谣言、阻碍修路，他很是愤怒和震惊。“大家都在拼命，居然有人阻挠这件关系到整个村利益的大事，这是怎么了？难道这时候不应该一心想着为人民服务吗？”张明富感到非常难以理解，以至于黯然伤神。
Zhang Mingfu, who was hospitalized in Beijing, was very angry and shocked when he knew that someone was spreading rumors and obstructing road construction in the village. It was so incomprehensible for him that everyone was working desperately on constructing road while someone was even standing in the way, affecting the interests of the entire village. For road construction, shouldn’t everyone exert themselves to make a contribution?
半晌后，他恢复了平静淡然。他想，“人民！只有人民才是真正的英雄，这是毛主席的话。随别人怎么嚣张，只要我是人民的一份子，我就不怕！”此时，张丽鈜正在医院里陪他，她没有察觉出父亲精神状态的波动和异常。
After a while, he was recovered with his equanimity. He thought, "The people! Only the people are the real heroes. This is what Chairman Mao said. No matter how arrogant others are, as long as I am a member of the people, I am not afraid!" At this moment, Zhang Lipei was accompanying him in the hospital. She didn't notice the fluctuation of her father's mood.
张明富暗下决心，“说我得了癌症？好！我就偏要修给你们看！”
Zhang Mingfu made up his mind, "How dare you said I had a cancer? I must build the road well regardless of what you said."
从医院回来，他立刻投入到修路中。这个过程里，也还有人阻挠，甚至要求把已修成的六米毛路改回四米五，导致大家中途一度停工11个月。时任镇党委书记的徐宇知道情况后，鼓励张明富：这条路对大坎村发展十分重要，你一定要顶住一切压力！
Coming back from the hospital, he immediately devoted himself to building the road. However, some people still opposed and asked him to shorten the road with the width of 6 meters to 4.5 meters, resulting in a stoppage of work for 11 months. Xu Yu, the secretary of the town Party committee at that time, encouraged Zhang Mingfu, “This road is very important for the development of Dakan Village, and you must resist all the pressure!”
2012年元月，中河再次动工，百转千回，终于顺利修成，大坎村欢呼声一片。
In January 2012, the Zhonghe Highway started again. After many twists and turns, it was finally successfully completed, and the village of Dakan was full of cheers.
与此同时，张明富结合大坎村具体情况，提出了“商业企业强村，绿色生态立村，避暑旅游旺村”的发展战略，除了认真策划和实施，他还亲自当起导游。一时间，来自重庆的游客纷至沓来，梦润文化、农民工创业、绿色生态避暑旅游得到共融发展。2012年，大坎村成为全省30个同步小康示范村之一。
At the same time, Zhang Mingfu put forward the development strategy of "strengthening the village with commercial enterprises, establishing the village with green ecology, and prospering the summer tourism" on the basis of characteristics of Dakan Village. In addition to careful planning and implementation, he also personally acted as a tour guide. All of a sudden, tourists from Chongqing came in droves. Mengrun culture, migrant workers' entrepreneurship, and green ecological summer tourism were developed in a harmonious way. In 2012, Dakan Village became one of the 30 synchronous well-off demonstration villages in the province.
2013年4月，张明富带领村民，紧锣密鼓地投入到在技术上更具挑战性的团九公路改造工程中。
In April 2013, Zhang Mingfu led the villagers into the more technically challenging project on Tuanjiu Highway renovation.
按照计划，这条路需要实施弯道改直和加宽改造，估算下来需要380万元资金。这条路2008年曾实施过硬化,暂不能列入政府工程计划里，政府一时半会儿落实不了资金。
According to the plan, the road needed to be straightened and widened, which was estimated to cost 3.8 million yuan. This road was hardened in 2008, so it could not be included in the government's project plan for the time being. The government could not fund it for a while.
张明富与村干部、群众代表反复商议决定：垫钱先修！
After repeated consultations with village cadres and the mass representatives, Zhang Mingfu decided, “We temporarily pay out of our own pockets first to build the road!”
在资金极度紧张的状况下，想改造团九公路简直困难重重。团九公路最难改造的地方，是滴水岩70多米的路面加宽工程。这是一段盘在悬崖上的公路，最窄路宽3.8米，靠里是陡峰峭壁，靠外是二十余米深的悬崖，地势十分险要，被当地群众称为“夺命崖”，仅仅是从旁观看，就足以令人望而生畏，工程难度之大可以想象。曾有专家实地考察后表示：少于一百万，改造根本不可能！正因如此，滴水岩的改造一直搁置着。
Under the extreme shortage of funds, it was difficult to reconstruct Tuanjiu Highway. The most difficult part of TuanJiu Highway was the pavement widening project of Drip Rock, which was more than 70 meters. This was a section of highway on a cliff. The path was perched on a precipitous cliff with narrowest part 3.8 wide. Inside were steep peaks and cliffs and outside was more than 20 meters scarp. The terrain was very dangerous. It was called "lethal cliff" by the local people. Just looking from the side, it was frightening. The difficulty of the project could be foreseen. Some experts said after on-the-spot investigation that without sufficient funds, the transformation is impossible! For this reason, the transformation of Drip Rock had been shelved.
有人认为把这份工作交给一个农民，纯属蛮干，并向张明富放言：“你连路基都找不到！”
Some people thought that it was purely reckless that the road renovation was to be allocated on a farmer, like Zhang Miangfu. And they defiantly declared, "He could not even find a roadbed!"
张明富对这类打击早已有了免疫力。一天凌晨4点，他独自跑到悬崖下面寻找路基。由于从小热爱物理，打工岁月中又干了许多和建筑、木工相关的工作，张明富对力学其实很有研究。三个小时后，他找到了基础，叫上正在放牛的凉风组村民方年华、张成海，“快来！我们把这个加宽！”两人二话不说，立马拿起工具跟张明富走了。
Zhang Mingfu was long been immune to such attacks. At 4 a.m. one day, he ran alone to the bottom of the cliff to find the subgrade. Because he loved physics from an early age and did a lot of work years ago related to architecture and carpentry, Zhang Mingfu was actually very good at mechanics. Three hours later, he found the subgrade and called Fang Nianhua and Zhang Chenghai, villagers of Liangfeng group, who were herding cattle, "Come on! Let's widen this part of subgrade!" Without saying a word, they immediately picked up tools and left with Zhang Mingfu.
为了避免任何一起安全事故发生在大家头上，张明富自己打头阵，“张铁人”矫健熟悉的身影又出现了——他带领村民系上安全绳，悬在半空中施工，他灵活地在悬崖峭壁上搬石头、拖钢筋，曾经连干三天三夜。一次，他的一根手指骨在搬运石头时被砸碎，至今未愈。大家从悬崖下砌起坚石，每隔约两米高，就用一层钢筋拉通固定，再浇上30至50公分厚的混凝土，一层又一层，将这条路牢牢“套”在了悬崖山体上！
In order to avoid any safety accident, Zhang Mingfu himself took the lead. The vigorous and familiar figure “Iron man Zhang" appeared again. He led the villagers to fasten safety ropes and hang in the air for construction. He flexibly moved stones and dragged steel bars on the cliffs, once working continuously for three days and nights. One of his finger bones was broken while carrying stones, and has not been healed till now. They built solid stones from the foot of the cliff, fixed them with a layer of steel bars every two meters, and then poured 30-50cm thick concrete. By this way, they firmly "set" this road on the cliff mountain layer after layer.
经过40多天的熬夜奋战，整个路段的改造仅仅花费了20余万，就将路面拓宽至平均8米，这在专家眼中是不可思议的。并且，张明富根据自己的力学知识判断：除非整座山垮了，否则这条路绝不会发生塌方。
It was incredible for experts to believe that the renovation of the entire road section only cost more than 200,000 yuan to widen to an average of 8 meters, after more than 40 days of staying up and working hard. Moreover, Zhang Mingfu judged from what he had learnt in mechanics that unless the whole mountain collapses, this road would never collapse.
半年后，大坎村村民日夜牵挂的两条路，总算在曲折中完工。
Half a year later, the two roads that the villagers of Dakan Village cared about day and night were finally completed after overcoming many difficulties.
“三农”织梦者
Dream Weaver of "Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers"
“你好，是张明富代表吗？你提交的农村生活垃圾处理的提案已被采纳。”“啊！好的好的。”“我们将尽快落实，感谢您的提案！”
"Hello, is this Representative Zhang Mingfu? Your proposal on the disposal of rural household garbage has been adopted." "Ah! All right." "We will implement as soon as possible. Thank you for your proposal!"
2016年5月30日，张明富放下电话，心情相当不赖，因为自己今年在全省“两会”期间的提案被采纳了。
On May 30, 2016, Zhang Mingfu hung up the phone and was in a good mood because his proposal during the NPC and CPPCC in Guizhou Province this year was adopted.
除了农村污水处理，他还提交了关于落实返乡农民工创业政策、全面建设农村“小康车”等四个提案。虽然自己每天坐着轿车出行，村民们“出行难”的境况却始终令他担心，他认为，农村小康路修好了，可是由于没有通公共汽车，村民出行不方便，摩托、黑车又不安全。2013年，他就在省“两会”上提出：“全面开通通往农村的小康车，让农民也享受到公共交通带来的实惠。”近两年，张明富一直密切关注农村“小康车”进展。
In addition to rural sewage treatment, he also submitted four proposals on implementing the entrepreneurship policy of returning migrant workers, comprehensively improving the public transportation in rural areas for the benefit of people. Although he traveled by car every day, he was always worried about the terrible traffic situation in the village. Considering that there was no rural bus and motorcycles and illegal cab were unsafe, it was still inconvenient for villagers to travel even if the rural roads had been repaired. In 2013, he proposed at the NPC and CPPCC of Guizhou Province, "Comprehensively improve rural public transport and let villagers enjoy the benefits of public transport." In the past two years, Zhang Mingfu had been paying close attention to the progress of improving rural public transport.
自从当上省人大代表，张明富每年都会抓住全省开“两会”的时机，一口气递交好几个提案，绝大多数聚焦农村、农业、返乡农工民创业就业等“三农”问题上。他对自己人大代表身份的使命感很强烈，觉得这是一份神圣的工作。
Since becoming a representative to the Provincial People's Congress, Zhang mingfu has seized the opportunity of the NPC and CPPCC of Guizhou Province every year and submitted several proposals, most of which focused on "agriculture, rural areas and farmers". He thought that representative to the Provincial People's Congress was a sacred job and had a strong sense of mission.
当了九年省人大代表，张明富提交了50余条建议和意见，每一条都搏动着一颗热烈而虔诚的心——都是他平日里细心观察、认真思考和深入调研的积累。他的提案多数被采纳，由此他也被媒体称为“多产的人大代表”。
As a representative to the Provincial People's Congress for nine years, Zhang mingfu submitted more than 50 suggestions and opinions, each of which was the accumulation of his careful observation, serious thinking and in-depth research. Most of his proposals were adopted, so he was also called by the media as "a representative to the Provincial People's Congress with high-quality proposals".
张明富2011年在贵州省“两会”期间，提交了关于扶持农民工回乡创业的建议，时任贵州省省长赵克志亲自督办。近年来，贵州省更加重视和加大对农民工返乡创业就业的扶持力度，“雁归兴贵”行动计划成为全国亮点，张明富倍感欣慰。
During the NPC and CPPCC of Guizhou Province in 2011, Zhang Mingfu submitted suggestions on supporting migrant workers to start businesses in their hometowns, which was personally supervised by Zhao Kezhi, then governor of Guizhou Province. In recent years, Guizhou province paid more attention to and strengthened the support for migrant workers to return to their hometowns to start businesses and find jobs. The provincial plan “wild geese returning home and prospering Guizhou”[1] was in the spotlight of China, which made Zhang Mingfu feel gratified.
对于所做的一切，张明富不以为然，总觉得不够多、不够好。这些年来，他和公司向社会捐助230余万元资金，帮助农村修路和基础设施建设投工投劳1500多个工作日。在慰问那些年老孤凄的贫困户的时候，他隐约看见逝世多年的奶奶的身影，这让他泪眼模糊。
For everything done for the village, Zhang Mingfu always felt that he had not done enough and that he could do better. Over the years, he and his company had donated more than 2.3 million yuan to the society to help rural road construction and infrastructure construction for more than 1500 working days. When he visited those old and lonely poor households, he vaguely saw the figure of his grandmother who had died for many years, which blurred his tears.
张明富到底是感性的。他觉得，这么多年来，似乎是一个又一个感动，推着他走到今天。
Zhang Mingfu was emotional. He felt that over the years, it seemed that accomplished goal after another had propelled him forward.
2009年4月27日，张明富来到人民大会堂，接受了“五一劳动奖章”表彰。颁发奖牌时，张明富经过时任中央政治局常委、中央书记处书记、国家副主席习近平身边时，习近平突然开口询问他来自哪里，他回答：“我是来自革命老区遵义的返乡创业的农民工。”习近平微笑说，“这些年，农民工为我们国家的发展作出了大贡献。”
On April 27, 2009, Zhang Mingfu arrived at the Great Hall of the People to receive the May Day Labor Medal. When the medal was awarded, Zhang passed by Xi Jinping, then Vice President of China. Xi asked Zhang where he came from. Zhang replied, "I am a migrant worker from Zunyi, an old revolutionary base area, who was returned to his hometown to start a business." "Migrant workers have made great contributions to our country's development over the years," Xi said with a smile.
第二天，他参加了全国劳模代表大会，一同参会的还有当时还健在的华西村原党委书记吴仁宝、“抓斗大王”包起帆、新中国的第一位女拖拉机手梁军等知名劳模代表，八人齐聚一堂，讲述自己的创业故事。
The next day, he attended the National Conference of Model Workers, along with other well-known representatives of model workers such as Wu Renbao, the secretary of the Party Committee of Huaxi Village, Bao Qifan, the "king of the grab machine", and Liang Jun, the first female tractor driver in China. Eight people in the conference shared their own entrepreneurial stories.
时任中央政治局委员、全国人大副委员长、全国总工会主席的王兆国听完后感动地说：“仁宝，起帆，这个张明富，他的钱可没有你们多哟……像张明富这样一个农民工，打工找了那么一点钱就想到回家乡艰苦创业，带领乡亲发展。这种精神就是当今最需要的劳模精神。”话音刚落，张明富鼻子一酸，内心满是惊讶和惭愧：“我就做了那么一点点事情，党和国家的领导人就有这么高的肯定……”
Wang Zhaoguo, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice-chairman of the National People's Congress and chairman of the China Federation of Trade Unions, was moved and said, "Renbao, Qifan, Zhang Mingfu didn't have as much money as you do... though he was merely a migrant worker, he still returned to his hometown to work hard and led the development of his fellow villagers. His spirit was the model worker spirit we most need today." As soon as he finished, Zhang Mingfu felt very surprised and ashamed, "I just did what I could, but the leaders of the party and the state have given me such a high recognition..."
会后，吴仁宝热情邀请张明富到华西村学习考察。2013年，张明富得知吴仁宝病逝，神色怆然。他常会想起带着28名厂里干部到华西村学习的时光，怀念那位手掌粗糙宽厚、背部微驼、一身正气的老人。
After the meeting, Wu Renbao warmly invited Zhang Mingfu to Huaxi village for study and investigation. In 2013, Zhang Mingfu looked sad when he learned that Wu Renbao died of illness. He often remembered the time when he took twenty-eight cadres in the factory to Huaxi village to study, and missed the old man of integrity, with rough and broad palms, slightly humped back.
2010年，张明富被评为全国劳模。不久后他收到一本《劳模杂志》，看到有一段话这样评价自己：“张明富通过大量劳动和社会实践总结出来的经验，对中国农村经济、社会发展所作的贡献是不可估量的。”读完后，这个在别人眼中严厉、强悍、不爱说话的真正的男子汉，开始低声地哭泣。他仍然是感动、惊讶、惭愧，“天啊，这真是太高的赞誉了，怎么会有这么高的评价？”
In 2010, Zhang Mingfu was named a national model worker. Soon after he received a Model Worker Magazine, he saw some comments on himself, "What Zhang Mingfu learnt from a lot of work and social practice has made inestimable contributions to China's rural economy and social development." After reading it, this real man who was harsh, tough, and not talkative in the eyes of others, began to cry in a low voice. He was still moved, surprised, and ashamed.
2015年10月中旬，张明富从北京捧回了2015“时代领跑者”大拇指奖杯。这次由全国总工会、中国文联、中国“五老”公益工程组委会主办的“时代领跑者”活动，选出了30名杰出劳模代表，包括王进喜、时传祥、袁隆平、包起帆、郭秀莲等自新中国成立以来的著名劳模。
In mid-October 2015, Zhang Mingfu took home the 2015 "Time Leader" thumbs trophy from Beijing. This time the event sponsored by the China Federation of Trade Unions, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and China's "Five Lao" Public Welfare Project Organizing Committee[2] selected 30 outstanding model workers, including Wang Jinxi, Shi Chuanxiang, Yuan Longping, and Bao Qifan , Guo Xiulian and other famous model workers since the foundation of PRC.
2015年12月，省发改委第六党支部与梦润党支部结对子帮扶。省发改委出资请省城乡规划院为大坎村和“贵州梦润农民工返乡创业园”制定了项目发展详规，力争将“贵州梦润农民工返乡创业园”打造成农民工返乡创业就业的大平台……
In December 2015, the Sixth Party Branch of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Mengrun Party Branch cooperated together. The Provincial Development and Reform Commission requested the Provincial Urban and Rural Planning Institute to formulate detailed regulations of project development for Dakan Village and the "Pioneer Park of Guizhou Mengrun Migrant Workers", in the hope that the Pioneer park would be built as a platform for entrepreneurship and employment of migrant workers who returned his hometown.
这些年来，他时常感动得不知如何是好。
He had been grateful all these years.
也经常有人责难他：“你就想捞荣誉嘛。”他便淡淡地回：“荣誉，谁不想争取？但是这些荣誉我可以没有，因为不是我去要的。我从生下来起就是一个农民，打工前是农民，打工后是农民，现在我还是农民——无非是一个创业农民。我就这么想，很简单。”
When someone blamed him ironically, “You just want glory”, he replied quietly, "Honor, who doesn't want to fight for it? But I can do without these honors, because I didn't ask for them. I have been a farmer since I was born, a farmer before I started working, a farmer after I started working, and I am still a farmer -- merely an entrepreneurial farmer. That's what I think. It's simple."
也有人警告刚正不阿、铁面无私的张明富，“当心有天把你的全国劳模给你下了，人大代表和政协委员免了！”张明富哈哈大笑，“还好，我永远都是农民，免了我的一切，我还可以捞起锄头继续干。”
Others satirized Zhang Mingfu, who was upright and selfless, "When your national model worker, deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference have been cancelled and dismissed, let's see what else you can do!" Zhang Mingfu laughed, "Fortunately, I will always be a farmer. Without those honors, I can pick up a hoe and continue to work."
人生五味杂陈。苦难的童年，艰涩的青春，隐忍的奶奶那蹒跚的背影，再苦再累依旧不离不弃的妻子，从国家到区镇的各级领导的关怀……这些点点滴滴都让他在感动之后，被一种力量充满，“我们这样的农民工，真的可以改变中国，改变世界！”
Life was full of mixed emotions. His miserable childhood, his arduous youth, his grandmother's staggering back, his wife who still been with him no matter how hard and tired, and the care of leaders at all levels from the country to districts and towns... these memories moved him and filled him with a kind of power, "Migrant workers like us can really change China and the world!"
2004年至今，张明富个人已获得十余个从中央到省市级别的荣誉，企业发展蒸蒸日上，在别人眼里早已是“名利双收”。然而令很多人觉得不可思议的是，张明富如今手里经营着年产值过7000万的企业，却活得像个“穷鬼”：不抽烟、不喝酒、不打麻将（张明富不敢学麻将，他怕影响创业，别说打麻将，他直接认不得这些小方块）。他身穿大街上随处可买的打折衣服，全家人仅有一套购于92年的、68平米的普通住房，属于他自己最好的车，是2011年购入的那辆9万多块的“中华”——他就喜欢这个名字。

Most people considered that he had achieved both fame and the fortune. However, what made many people feel incredible was that Zhang Mingfu operated an enterprise with an annual output value of more than 70 million, but lived like a "poor man". He didn't smoke, drink or play mahjong (Zhang Mingfu didn't dare to learn mahjong, and he was afraid of affecting his entrepreneurship). He wore discounted clothes that could be bought everywhere on the street. All family members lived in a 68-square-meter apartment that he bought in 1992. He bought his car in 2011 for more than 90,000 yuan with the brand of “Zhonghua”-- he loves the name.

他回想自己的一生，虽然没能上大学，日子很苦，但还能靠双手创业，靠勤劳致富，而且今天又能带动父老乡亲一起赚钱，无论怎么想都觉得自己很幸运。张明富自己也很难说清楚，为什么对祖国家乡有着那么至深的热爱。他时常拷问自己的内心：“农村的困难和问题还很多，农村的事，农民不干，谁来干？农民的事，外出学到知识的农民工不干谁来干？家乡的建设，我不带头干，还等谁来干？”

It was difficult for Zhang Mingfu to explain why he had such a deep love for his homeland. He often reflected himself, “There were still many difficulties and problems in the countryside. About the rural affairs, if farmers didn't do it, who would do it? About the farmers' affairs, if the migrant workers who went out to learn knowledge didn't care, who would take care of it? About the construction of my hometown, if I didn't take the lead, who else would do it?"

在很早的时候，他就定下了“生命不息，奋斗不止”的人生格言，他像个不知疲倦的陀螺。尽管梦润企业和大坎村进入了良性发展轨道，但张明富知道自己心中的“梦”还没有完成，他仍时刻关注着中国2.7亿农民工的命运，关注着与大坎村相似的中国千千万万个农村，那是他一生追寻的缤纷斑斓的梦，他的“中国梦”,他还要继续织着那个宏大的梦。
